I Challenge Diabetes was founded by Chris Jarvis in 2007 after connecting with people with diabetes all over the world as an Olympic rower. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Jarvis_(rower)
The I Challenge Diabetes team consists of passionate individuals who live with the challenges of Type 1 diabetes. Their mission is to support, empower and connect people living with Type 1 diabetes by providing challenging, high quality programs to test the limits of living with the disease and ultimately help them take accountability for their own health. All their leaders are committed to an active and positive lifestyle through a wide range of personal and team sports: biking, hiking, rowing, dancing, martial arts and hockey are just a few.
Their office is located in Toronto but we are very fortunate to now have I Challenge Diabetes provide events in the Calgary area as well. To learn more about adventure opportunities, please visit www.ichallengediabetes.org
